Do you have parking available?


Yes! We have a large car park at the side and rear of the pub. Should you visit on a busy day and find the car park full, there is ample parking available in the neighbouring residential streets. We do also have 1 disabled bay available.




Do you have free wifi?


Yes! We sure do! We have cloud wifi that you can connect to free of charge. We do also have an alternative network so if you have no luck with the cloud, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to provide you with details of this network.




What beers/ales do you offer?


We have a variety of ales and lagers available both on draught and bottled. Our draught ales and lagers include Fosters, Amstel, Coors Light, Heineken, Beaver Town Neck Oil, Guinness, Berries & Cherries Cider, Doom Bar, London Pride and Landlord. Bottled includes Heineken, Heineken Zero, Estrella, Sol, Old Mout Cider.




Do you offer a range of spirits?


We have a great range of vodka, whisky and rum as well as a huge range of gins including Tanqueray, Martin Millers, Brockmans, Bombay Sapphire, Hendricks, Copper House and Monkey 47.




Do you show sport?


Yes! We have both BT Sport and Sky Sports and show all major sporting events.




Can I hire the White Lion for my party/event?


Yes! Although we're not taking any event/function bookings for 2021 due to the pandemic, we are taking bookings for 2022 onwards. We do offer exclusive hire of the pub and garden. Do you have any job vacancies?


We are not currently recruiting however please check back regularly and keep an eye on our social media channels for any future vacancies.




Is there anything in particular I need to do if I visit during the COVID-19 pandemic?


Yes! We ask that all customers wear a face mask/covering until they are seated at their table. We ask that you sanitise you hands on arrival (sanitiser is provided) and that you complete the track and trace form (details can be found at the entrance). We are also operating a one in-one out system with our toilets and we ask that you are considerate of this.
In line with new government regulations, when a group enters a hospitality venue, every individual must check in either by scanning the official NHS QR code poster with the NHS COVID-19 app, or by providing their contact details through another method. Previously, only the lead member of the group needed to provide contact details to check in. We are operating in line with all government guidelines therefore you may also wish to check the up to date guidance at https://www.gov.uk.




Do you have baby changing facilities?


Yes! We have baby changing facilities available in the ladies toilets.




Are you a dog friendly pub?


Yes! We are a dog friendly pub. We just ask that dogs are kept in the garden or indoor bar area and on a lead.




Are there any rules when using the garden and outside areas?


Yes. We ask that customers refrain from moving benches and any other seating. Please also ensure that children are supervised at all times. Covid-19 guidance should also be followed where applicable.




Do you have a children's play area?


Yes, we do. We have a slide, mini climbing wall and firemans pole. We ask that all children are supervised by a suitable adult at all times. The White Lion takes no responsibility for any injury or harm caused as a result of using the play area.
